Histofreezer is a cryosurgical system for uncomplicated removal of warts and other skin lesions. Thanks to its compact size and user-friendliness, Histofreezer is not only for dermatologists and surgeons, it is also for general practitioners and pediatricians. Inside the compact aerosol container is a liquid air-gas mixture of dimethyl ether, propane, and isobutane. Using Histofreezer is simple and only requires one hand to perform the procedure. Press with one finger on the applicator (2mm) with the air-gas mixture, and within a few seconds it is cooled to -55°C. This is the optimal temperature for wart removal.
